Ben Northington is the Principal of Community Maintenance Services and Consulting (CMSC). Ben has extensive experience in commercial construction and home improvement, as well as training and experience in architectural design.
He previously owned and operated a residential design/build company, worked as a Superintendent for a large reputable construction company, and served as Vice President of Construction for a land development and consulting company. When the economy and construction industry took a downturn in 2008, Ben transitioned into the property management field as a director of property services. Community Maintenance Services and Consulting (CMSC) was started in 2011.
As a Property Manager, Ben struggled with finding available contractors, getting timely estimates, and completing projects quickly. He found it difficult to find a dependable professional company that would handle his service calls from start to finish so that he could be more efficient at his job. So when Ben consistently experienced these challenges as a Property Manager, he decided to start a company that would meet the community maintenance needs of busy Property Managers. Thus, CMSC was established in July 2011 and Ben has been providing quality community maintenance and consulting services to property management companies ever since.
Ben’s company is my preferred contractor for my largest property… His responsiveness to the needs of this community and his ability to perform quality work has earned him this designation.
